History

Composite Solutions was created in September of 1991. Composites Solutions has seen steady growth each year for the next 18 years, while adding personnel, capability, and manufacturing operations. In 2000, the company moved into a Murray, Utah location. For eleven years that location served as the center of operations until 2011, when Composite Solutions relocated to a new, state-of-the-art, facility in Salt Lake City.

In 2009, Nammo Talley, acquired Composite Solutions LLC, and thus the Nammo Composite Solutions (Nammo CS) business unit was established. The Nammo group has invested a significant amount of resources into the Nammo CS operation to propel the business unit into its next growth phase. Our recent growth in capabilities, staff, floor space, and revenue base reflects a strategic investment focus and allows Nammo CS to better support our customers.

Nammo Talley is part of the Shoulder Fired Systems divsion of the Nammo Group. Headquartered in Raufoss, Norway, the Nammo Group is a technology-driven aerospace and defense group specializing in high-performance defense and space solutions. The company was founded in 1998, based on a merger of three major Nordic defense companies: Celsius AB, Patria Oyj, and Raufoss ASA.

The Nammo Group is driven by precision engineering, a dedication to safeguarding the environment, and the development of innovative, global solutions.
